Hi,
I am currently hatching quail eggs. am on day 10 today. A few days back my humidity shot up to 70% and stayed that way for around 24 hrs. do you think this would have affected my hatch rate?

I've never hatched so I can't advise you - sorry. But if you go to "Other Backyard Poultry" forum you can find threads about quail. I think someone there would give you the best advice.

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan

The Incubation and Hatching section would also be a good place to post. I think is unlikely that a very brief change would cause issues.

Hello :frow Welcome to BYC and Happy Holidays! Good luck with your hatch, hope the quail do OK.

No, a quick spike in humidity will not do too much damage to your quail eggs. It is the long term highs and lows of temp and humidity that do the damage. You might want to head over to the "Quail Section" of these forums and post this question.

Welcome and enjoy BYC!
