quail in a storm

i was just wondering people with buttons they fly up when they are starttled would they do that in a thunder and lighting storm

Some Button Quail will have a panic attack if a fly buzzes through their cage. lol
But, they do get calmer as they get accustomed to certain noises and interaction.
I can reach into a cage and retrieve eggs and as long as my motions are slow and I tell
them I'm only collecting eggs they're fine with it. It wasn't always that way though.
They used to skits out at opening the door.
Unless it was a REAL close lightening strike where the Boom accompanies the flash they should be ok.

Yeah, I've never noticed mine freaking out over the weather. At most they'll start doing that 'hehehe' sound, all of them at the same time. It's cute, but not when you have 20+ doing it at once in your spare bedroom!
