Go baby quails, Go!

Is your face plastered to the incubator window? Mine always is..... I'm so bad I take pics of the pips so I can monitor if there are any small changes.. ha ha

Yep!! I keep going away in the hope of returning to chicks lol. I think they have some yolk to absorb still as I see the yawning motion! Hopefully not to much I wanna see some babies

I hatched out some d'uccle chicks this weekend and it was between 10-12 hours from initial pips to zips. Drove me crazy checking on them every 10 mins.

That's pretty good for ducks isn't it? I've got the hatching bug so I've got all sorts of duck eggs in my inc

You're incubating quail and ducks, you are going to be overrun!!!! Should I dare ask how many incubators you have going at the moment?????

The robin eggs were actually in my grandparents window! whenever they went into the room it scared them to death so they ended up abandoning the nest and i waited several hours to see if they came back but they didnt. So I actually candled them (4) and all are alive!


one cracked but im hoping it will still make it??

thats amazing!! Has it been cracked the whole time? Should be ok aslong as the membrane is ok? If it's just cracked then that's a pip

I know lol. I have two going one for incubating and one for hatching!! I haven't had the best luck with ducks so I'm giving the dry hatch ago and so far so good!

Well nothing has really changed is that normal? I thought quail were like popcorn lol. I have got a few more pips but I thought I would wake up to babies

As I suspected they were starting to shrink wrap one just couldn't get out so I helped it and here he/she is!!
