hi to all of you... i am interested in rasing quail, I am looking at some hatching eggs on ebay and i already have some chicken eggs in the bator..als0 i have a little 3 foot pen by 2 feet high so is this good enough for 6 quail ... .... what temp and humity is needed to hatch quail.... and what temp is needed to raise baby quail in a brooder? and any thing else would be helpful

First off, there is a sticky on the main quail forum page that probably covers all this.

A 3'x2' cage is plenty big enough for 6 quail. They only need about 1 sq. ft. per bird. Mine don't even have that, and they get along fine.

Coturnix eggs take 18 days to hatch. I keep my temps at 100 degrees at egg-level, with humidity no less than 45%. More is better on humidity.

Turn the temp down to 99 and humidity up to at least 65% for the hatch.

Brooder temps between 95 and 100 for the first week or they will pile up and squish each other.
