quail interacting with eggs

I went to go collect eggs from the quail and I got a idea. I put all the eggs in a best looking thing and one of the females went up to them and and moved them a bit. I went inside and got 3 eggs from the fridge and I added them and the female moved them with her beak close to the nest looking thing i made. So does this mean anything
