Quail interbreeding issues?

Do quail have interbreeding issues if you breed the hatchlings from the same rooster, but different hens? This could possibly happen when there is one male to 5-7 hens. Do you folks find it best to hatch your own eggs or get a new batch from a professional breeder? Has anyone had a problem with stock weakening or deformities d/t possible interbreeding?

Same roo, diff hens is no problem as long as the roo doesnt have any problems.

I'd suggest you get started with a few birds and getting your fertile eggs from a breeder. After you're comfortable with raising and keeping quail, you can branch out to breeding and incubating.
