quail leg injury

I don't mean sell the injured pharoah quail right now, that would be insane. The poor thing will need time to rest, and if she changes habitat, it'll be too stressful for her in her current state.
I meant that once shes healed, you could sell her and probably with a friend. Quail are hardy creatures and don't take too long to get better. And people can be willing to buy female quails for their egg production.

Hi there, I have a female quail with the exact injury as you've pictured. It is the only photo on the internet i could find that looks exactly like mine. Did you ever find out what it was, or did you make a cast for it, and it solved the problem?

I'm worried this could be a sign of Marek's disease. I don't want to lose my whole flock, as there is no recourse for Marek's. I would love to know what you found with this. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Crystal J
