We hatched chicks 11 weeks ago today with approx 15 females. 1st egg at 5.5 weeks, but continued to get that first egg (often shell-less) until last week. I think they may all be laying now. Another batch of “teens” we purchased took some time to lay - up to 12 weeks old to begin laying. 7 weeks is a little early, but should be soon!! Good luck.
