Quail Making Noise

Mine do this sound, when they are lonley in quaratine.... kinda call for compainions, as far as I figured out.

That sounds like a worried type of churp will it go by the hurt one it might just be worried about it

I'll keep and eye on it and probably will keep the injured one out of there until it gets better. Thanks guys! I'll keep you updated as to if I ever figure out what exactly it is.

i agree with @Fenrisulfr . When they're about that age they sound kind of croaky. My quail do that when they're by themselves/feel lonely.

Had it just today again ... was trying to introduce 2 hens and 1 roo into my balcony flock, splitting a hen which is obviously bonded to the roo and vice versa.

She was "barking" non stop and either the roo crowing non stop, ignoring the new flock. And as they heard each other, they were increasing loudness and frequency.

After 15 mins my heart was breaking and I reunited them. They mate imeadiatly and there was silence.
