Even now, I only have like a handful of my pheasants that have names....my quail still have no name!

Get on with the names Sean!

I couldn't bear the thought of eating mine, they are just so cute and cuddly. But to each his own i guess
That's kinda the reason I don't eat my pheasants....sorta....people always ask me if I eat them, to which I reply, "Would you pay $400 for a dinner of pheasant?" :lau

I could never eat my babies either. I hatched about 60 over my years, each and everyone was loved and had a name. Had a couple of females and 1 male that were lap sitters!

Oops, thats about 60 hatches, not individual quail. But every breeder bird had a name. :love

Were all the names different? I have a line of birds called Davy, Davy II, davy III, and so on, since they all come from davy

Quite a few of the species of pheasants I have are worth $400/pr. some more than that!

I believe this. Some of those pheasants are so ornamental and colorful!
