Quail nest box size?

What size nest boxes do quail need? Have constructed some just wondering if they would work both 15cm tall (12.5cm inside) one is 22.5cm wide (20cm inside) and one is 17.5cm (15 inside)
I had a small amount of spare timber so I just worked with what I had instead of planning.

Quail may or may not use nest boxes. They will occasionally sleep in there (maybe) but they lay wherever they happen to be when the urge hits. They'll probably be happier with little shelters scattered through their enclosure. You can use just about anything: cardboard boxes, flower pots laid on their side, baskets, etc.
