I have noticed tiny little bugs on my quail enclosure. There are two buttons housed in a 29 gallon aquarium. The pests look like food dust, only they move. That's how small they are. They don't jump or fly, or apparently bite. There are no bugs on my quail.
I first noticed them about 3 weeks ago, and scrubbed the cage, and soaked it with bleach water, then let it dry in the sun. They have since come back. The birds are on a mixture of pine and aspen bedding.
Any ideas on how to get rid of these or what they are? I am thinking they are living in the rim of the aquarium, which would be hard to eradicate from there.
Thanks!
