Quail Pictures...and Quail Talk

I need time to figure things out. So that is Angel and is it the male Zeus or a female Hera next to her.

You know I am trying to figure out if I can just have 1 set of birds in the house full time. But what happens if I can't, that is a real problem. What to do with them in that case. You'd have to take them and any others back. I think I would be better off with the birds than their eggs. You'd have to agree to take them back if I can't breath around them after awhile. I know I can handle it for a few weeks with no issues. But hey, mhwc had to give up her indoor birds because of COPD in the family and that is my problem.

SO when you going to San Anton again?

And remind me, how long do Buttons live?

i can do the indoor birds now because all our kids have moved out and left me with space to "hide " them away in a separate room where they wont bother my DH who is the 1 with COPD. Also, we had parrots who have the most RIDICULOUS amount of feather dust....it was just everywhere !
i don't know what kind of feather dust Buttons have but i am about to find out ......martha

Buttercup Chillin: Angel is the one you like ( she is the Female Pied ) Zeus is the Black Tuxedo Male - they will be a pair once I get pens for them. If you couldn't keep them I would take them back -

I have a pair in my room - Buddy and Bella ( of Snowy Dove as I sometimes call her ). I don't smell them at all and I let them roam my room while I am in their. The female goes Nutz but Buddy just follows me around the room waiting to be held!

Um, we're going to San Antonio next winter for the Christian Independent Film Festival - We will be there for like 3 - 5 days.
The females live about 3 - 4 years and the Males live to be much older. Males make the better pets, they are friendlier and live longer which is a plus!

Both genders should live up to 7 years if not longer.
