Quail poop

Hi all, I'm having a few problems with my oldest bird, he is six years old. Sleeps a lot for his age but the problem is with his poop, it is very watery and slimey like stomach bile, he drinks a lot of water too. But other than that is very healthy for his age.

All his poops are like this and he is constantly drinking water. I'm thinking its his age.

These boards are full of the same questions, and most times the answers (reasons/diseases,etc..) are the same no matter the type of bird.

Thanks! He seems fine but lost some weight, I will book him in the vets and let them have a look at him.
