I have hatched out 21 quail 1 month ago this Wed. The guy I got them from said to feed them medicated chick starter till 6 wks. then chick grower till 12 wks. old then game bird feed . I have been doing this and mine are great. Don't forget to put pebbles or stones in the base of the waterer , they can drown themselves being so small ( mine were the size of the width if my first and second fingers side by side. I just stopped putting pebbles in the water base yesterday, cause they went outside in a pen . I had them in an aquarium with rabbit wire over the top an a 250 watt bulb in a clamp light. As they got bigger they would fly up and hit wire , I'm glad we thought of it. BEST OF LUCK - YOU WILL DO FINE!

I forgot to tell you . they get feathers between 2 & 3 wks. , they can fly at 3 wks. , they can lay eggs at 4 wks. , and they can start breeding between 6-8 wks. You can sell some to people to eat, or sell eggs for people to hatch , or sell the adults for breeding. The males are small and the females are bigger. BOL!
