Quail sleeps too much I think it’s sick

My quail sleeps a bit too much,she has been like that since I got her(3 days ago),she eats and drinks,I don’t know if she has diarrhe,all I know is that she sleeps and is a bit weak,I gave her some garlic,I can’t take her to a vet for personal reason,any natural remedies for her?

I would start by separating her from the other birds. Keep her warm. This will allow you to observer her more closely as well. You'll be able to see how much she's eating and drinking and what her poop looks like.

Please don't feed birds garlic. It can be toxic to them.

How old is your bird? My older ones sleep most of the time. My young (under 6 week) quail sleep without warning. The others are usually awake but docile during the middle of the day, active in the morning and at dusk.

A lot of times birds won’t even show a big sign they’re not feeling well until it’s too late, and being that you just got her you couldn’t have kept a close eye on her for too long

Thanks so much for the encouragement,I honestly felt so guilty that I couldn’t tare her to a vet in time,thank you:)
