These look like bruises from being on her hocks so much. I would definitely try the Poly Vi Sol for a while and see if it makes a difference.

If you use the Poly Vi Sol, you would give her about 3 drops in her mouth daily. You can get this at Walmart in the vitamin section, its liquid baby vitamins. Make sure its without iron. It comes with a dropper.how much should i give her at a time?
What exactly do you use for this homemade feed?she's about a month old, her substrate is pine shavings and she is on a solid floor, no swelling I feed the quail a homemade starter because gamebird feed is very hard to find here, but I've never had any problem with the food I give them. but if you have any gamebird food suggestions it would be helpful
thanks
i just got poly vi sol for her. it contains riboflavin and a bunch of other vitamins so i think that will helpI tend to agree with @Eggcessive . Your feed is lacking in the vitamins and minerals essential for proper development and overall health of your birds.
thank you soo much she's already walking better and i only gave her 1 drop so far! These look like bruises from being on her hocks so much. I would definitely try the Poly Vi Sol for a while and see if it makes a difference.
