The only thing better than the pop bottle water thingies would be some type of auto water system.
I just don't have the setup or volume to warrant an auto water system at the moment.
I buy mine from GQF for $9.35/dozen +S&H.
They are, or can be made chick safe, and also be grown bird effective.
True multi-taskers. They are chick safe, like the flat feeders, so they go from brooder to grow out, to breeder pens.
Also, they allow me to recycle the nasty (forever in a land fill) pop bottles at least one time, before I chuck it in the recycle bin for a second shot.
