Quail with curled feet what should I do?

My baby quail has curled feet and is struggling to get up and walk

I've watched some YouTube videos and the most showed is putting cardboard under his feet and positioning them to the correct spot and finishing it with surgical type or vet tape, I've tried it but doesn't seem to be working just comes right off his feet

Try a band-aid or painters tape. Something that is intended to come off easily. Tape the toes into proper position and leave the tape on for a day. If it's going to be fixable, that's all it takes.

I've put it on! And he seems to be getting better at standing up now but he keeps straighting his back and tumbling over, anyway I could teach him to lean more forwards like the rest of the quails?

Leave it alone for now. If you want, you can take the band-aid off tonight and see how it's doing, but I would wait until tomorrow.
