Quail with head wound

This morning I noticed that one of my quail's feathers not right, upon closer examination I found a wound on her head. Looks like it was from jumping up and hitting on the mesh wire ceiling.

Any ideas on treating with regular household medications right now? I am going to tractor supply tomorrow anyway, anything I should pick up there?

Neosporin without pain killer is fine. At TSC blue kote is probably best.

Thanks, man. Bought Blue-Kote yesterday at TSC and applied to the wound.

The funny part is that I applied a bit too much and I guess some of it got to quails eye, so when it shook it off, painted my hands and feet in blue sprinkles.

Yeah that stuff makes a mess. Sometimes youll come out and they've dyed another bird blue if you over did it. I like it for wounds though cause the other birds won't usually pick at the wound with it on there.
