I just started some quail and my humidity says 65. is this OK..I plan on letting it die down to 50 humidity until lock down ..I put some bread in hopeing it would bring down humidity.don't hav rice.I have never hatched quail before..only chickens

Can a outside pip from mY quail be so tiny I can barely see it

usually an external pip is very noticeable as it pushes out the shell at the pip as well as a small area around it.

Baby's starting pipping yesterday around 4pm..I got up this morning to one tuxedo hatched and several almost hatched and now I have 20 so far out of 50..yellowish with some back stripe and all yellow and all blackish looking.one tryed coming out to soon and still has yoke sack but it's still moving some and breathing but not sure if it'll make ..waiting on other thirty..lol. There so cute. When u got the ones hatched n dryed out to put in brooder they ran to me to get in my hand..sooo cute..
