quail

My first hatch, (working on my second now), I kept it at 65% at hatch time. Worked well, and when a chick or 2 would hatch the humidity would go up so I opened my vent a tad more till the chicks were dry and the humidity started going back down. Required some diligence, but I was right there watching anyway!

Thank you so much I have it a 65% right now, there are two plugs on mine, so if the humidity went I would just open it a little bit?

That's what I did. When the chicks st started hatching it would go up into the 70s because they're wet. So before it got too high I'd open the vent little by little till it went back to 65 or thereabouts, till the next one came out, etc
