quails and chickens

hi everyone!
as some of you know i hatched 9 button quail. their cages are being built on the opposite side of the yard from my chicken's house (about 30 feet away). i only have one chicken (i got her as a day old a year ago) and she's never been exposed to other chickens and she's always been healthy. she free ranges all day long. will this be a problem for the quail? i've been reading a lot about not mixing quail and chickens!

I wouldn't worry, unless she is eating and drinking with the quail

nope, she will definitely not be in their cages!
