For those of you quail lovers like me, this thread is for you! Introducing my pet bobwhite, he has just turned 5 weeks old on Sunday, August 16. His hatch date is on July 12 2015. Not like a parrot, he has never bitten me, although he pecks when he's inquisitive about something. He even follows me all around the house! When I leave, he starts calling and looking for me! He doesn't have a name yet, but anyway, here are pictures of my quail:

He's just a wonderful pet to have! I'd say he's my cuddly little baby!

Cute little guy! Tickles me that he checks out the cursor on your computer screen -- mine does that also!

Thank you to those two that complimented me with all the nice words and I greatly appreciate it! I hope more people join this thread to have a look of my bobwhite quail and start to compliment me! Isn't he such a cutie?

Here's another picture of him eating before going to sleep in his brand-new rabbit cage I got for him:

Question: wouldn't they poo a lot when you let them free? Or are they quite clean?
He can be quite messy at times. And yes, he does poop when he's out of the cage, and poops more frequently when he's especially active. Don't worry, I clean up after his waste.
