My quails are fighting with each other, what can I do to try and prevent this? Or should they be separated?

    Thanks very much

hi how much space do they have, also do you have lots of cover for them, conifer branch and sand boxes to keep them occupied.
have you separated the boys from the girls. the more space they have the better behaved they are, more space means they can get away from each other.

How much light are you giving them? And are you using red light? Some people seem to think red light increases aggressiveness. We just use blue lights in our brooders. In our breeding pens, we use regular light

How old are they, how many males (this is the most common issue), overall space in sq ft and number of birds, type of food etc. Try to be as detailed as you can in order for someone to help resolve the issue.
