Quails laying on eggs.

I hear of button quail and bob white sitting on their eggs. would english white quail or just normal coturnix quail sit on their eggs. I had one tuxedo quail sit on two eggs but stopped after about 4 days.

There are several stories on this forum about coturnix quail incubating their own eggs, so yes, it happens, but no, it's not a regular occurrence.
