Very nice and now the fun begins! Oh you asked about the newspaper, I use kitchen shelf liner that is non-skid it is used a lot for campers/RVs to keep the dishes from sliding in the cabinets. Walmart sells it as do most home improvement stores. you just cut it to size with shears and its washable too. i even leave it in the cage under the wood shavings as its easy to pick up and dump the dirty shavings and wash , while that one is drying I have another cut to fit the cage that I use. works great. I love my "butttons".
thanx for the tip on the newspaper i love my quails too even thought i only have one at the moment and have only know him or her for about 3 hours but how could you not fall in love with something so cute!!!
I went away today and when i got back there was a dead quail because my sister and her friends left the door open and the cat got in and they were playing with the button quail and left the food and water out of the box so the one of the box died of not having food and water
