can i mix 3 japanese quails with one japanese bantam chicken that is a female? because they r about the same size

I've heard that the only way to successfully cross breed chickens and quail is by artificial insemination. I'm rather sure the hybrid will be sterile.

Frankly, most folk don't house chickens and quail in the same pen due to disease issues.

I tried to cross a Toyota with a Honda one time, and it didn't work.
