Quails

Can a button quail(3 weeks old) mix with Japanese quail(5 weeks old)??

I wouldn't suggest it unless it's a very large cage or aviary. Quail can be territorial lil buggas.

The Japanese quail will probably kill them. First off the buttons are smaller, second they are much younger. Maybe if they were hatched together but I wouldn't risk the lives of the buttons otherwise.
