Quality Chicks?

I'm thinking about getting some D'uccles from a hatchery, since I had no luck finding them in the northern california area.

So who would you recommend? Hatchery wise.

I would rather go for quality over quantity. Basically I want good looking and healthy birds.

Any help would be appreciated,

I tried ordering mille fleur d'Uccles 3 times from Ideal, and every time they died, so I would not get them from there. I'd try sandhill preservation if they aren't already sold out.

No, that was over a year ago, and we ended up getting hatching eggs from a good breeder, which worked out better anyway since we wanted to show/breed and with hatchery d'Uccles we probably wouldn't have been able to do that.

I ordered my Milles from Ideal and they are strong and beautiful. 1 did turn out to be a rooster though. If you want really beautiful birds order from Murray McMurray. The prices are higher but the quality is amazing.
