Quality of McMurray cochins?

that is what I was worried about, poor leg feathering and too much tail, not enough buns. well that is almost to be expected from a hatchery. they sure are cute though!!

we got 2 standard cochins from McMurry. They are so beautiful.
We ordered all pullets, ornimental layers, and one out of 25 ended up being a rooster..thats one of our cochins. He is THE BEST!!
He has fathered all of our teen chicks that are in the brooder, and in the nursery...I think he is beautiful!!! And is matching girly...Pretty Girl, is so cute. They are both buff color, and just about perfect!

this is Pretty Girl when she was younger, she is very camera shy....so I am suprised I even got this pic

I'm no expert on show chickens, but when I ordered from murrey mcmurray, my mystery chick looked like a cochin. However, it was lame and never seemed to grow up. It died.

My first bantam cochins were from McMurray. Two of the roos were mean as can be early on, and they went to freezer camp EARLY. However the remaining pullet and roo were wonderful personalities. THe hen is way too small and not enough feathering over all, but a fantastic pet and wonderful momma. The roo was very nice and really pretty but also not SQ. But I have seen far worse examples of cochins (including in my pens - got some from someone here without checking on the quality...) THey still look like cochins even if not the best quality. Here are a couple of pics of our two, give you an idea anyway.
