I have 3- 14 week pullets and just added 3- year old hens yesterday. I know I need to keep them seperated but is the seperation at night enought? They were bathed, I checked for skin issues, bugs, sores ect... so I put them together last night. Is it too late if someone was exposed to something and/or should I go ahead and keep them seperated at night for the remaining weeks? THey all will be out and about together during the day.
Now I feel guilty...

Technically
, they shouldn't even be sharing air for at least 30 days. Too late for that now, cross your fingers and hope for the best.

It is not too late to quarantine them properly -- though it'd have been better if you'd done that from the start. So that is what I recommend. Put them somewhere else (not in the coop), *all the time*, for at least a few weeks.

Good luck, have fun,

Pat

I know.... I just did not realize all the crud they could have and just thought if they looked/ acted healthy I would be ok.
I am sooo new at this... I will need to create a pen for them..

Thanks All!
