My wife and I were given a hen and a rooster and they are awesome. But we need more hens to give Wilma a break. Their coop is 4' x 8' and the run is 15' x 30' so we have room but need to know if it is necessary to quarantine the 2 or 3 new hens we will be getting soon. If we have to do this how long before we can put them in with Fred and Wilma ?

Many do a week or two. Some nothing.Supposed to wait a month.

Quarantine them for a month, deworm them and dust them for mites. My flock was perfectly healthy and happy until I rescued some chicks from a negligent owner. We didn't quarantine and long after that I lost a hen. Send her off to the vet who told me she had Lice AND worms! I learned my lesson!

Invermectin or Valbazen for deworming and Sevin dust or food grade DE (diatomaceous earth) for dusting. Most people here swear by DE for dusting. It is a good idea to follow up on the deworming as their eggs sometimes survive and hatch after you killed the worms. So deworm again after 2 weeks or so.
