Quarantine question

Do you have central air/ heat ducts? if yes, they are not separated far enough. Separate buildings, separate ventilation, as in @rosemarythyme 's article.
You can have some tests run on live birds; check your state veterinary path, lab.
Personally we never bring in outside birds, except Marek's vaccinated chicks from tested hatcheries, trying to avoid disaster.

I do not have central heat. And my air exchanger has no vents in those rooms when the doors are shut. Also both pullets come from a vaccinated environment for coccidiosis and Marek's

Marek's vaccine is a wonderful thing, but doesn't prevent these birds from actually being infected with Marek's disease, it prevents them from having the tumors caused by the virus. Also birds can be carriers of Mycoplasma gallisepticum or synoviae without symptoms. Check with your state veterinary lab about testing!

Thank you

Separate rooms of the same house will make zero difference.

Most of us don't have the space to properly quarantine.
When it comes to quarantine you either do it properly or don't bother wasting your time because separate cages is not going to work.

That's pretty much what I figured. That means my 2 pullets at this point don't need to be seperated cause they are in the same building so it's too late
