How long to keep chickens quarantined before introducing new chickens to the flock. We bought new chickens on the 10th of July-we've kept them seperated from our flock since we got them and they look and act fine. Can we let them start free ranging together and slowly introduce them to the flock and coop over the next week or so?
Thanks

Quarantine should be for at least 30 days to six weeks, in order for any carrier disease to show up. It can take that long. Sometimes, even with a long quarantine, it will show up later on, so quarantine isn't perfect. I commend you for being cautious!
