Quarantining Chicks?

On monday, I might pick up two more silkies <3. I was hoping to introduce them to my one pre-existing silkie.

I am aware of the need to quarantine new adult birds to avoid spread of disease, but what about chicks? Should they be quarantined for a week before exposing them to my others?

You should probably keep them the separate if they are coming from a big hatchery.
