quarantining one rooster alone ok?

I got a rooster today almost 4 months old, is it ok to quarantine him by himself or does it make them sad? He can see the other hens...not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing.

I did it for 5 weeks when I got the one and only bird I've ever bought as an adult years ago. He'll be okay. And it gives you time to get to know each other, too.
