Quarentining New Chickens?

How do I properly quarantine new chickens to see if they have any diseases that they could spread to my current flock?

Briefly, they should be downwind and a fair distance from the old flock. You need to wash hands and change shoes (and perhaps clothes) between flocks, and care for the new flock first. Ideally, separate them for 4 to 6 weeks, then choose one from your current flock and put it with the new ones for another couple of weeks. Here is an article:
