Quartering a chicken

Still new to BYC so not sure if this is where i post my question.Here goes,Can you quarter your chicken right after you butcher and then set to "rest"in fridge or do they have to "rest" before you quarter?

You can do it either way.

Thank you,we have 16 to do and limited space in the fridge lol

It doesn't have to be the fridge, you can use an ice chest with ice water, just have a supply of ice.
