Hi all,

I've seen the instructions on how to make one, but it looks like most folks use crumbles in the feeder. I only feed my girls pellets. I imagine they would work too and would like to know if anyone has a suggestion as to how big the holes should be?

Thanks,
Carol

Are you talking about this type of feeder? My holes are about 2-1/2".

I made a hanging bucket feeder and bolted a large plastic plant water pan on the bottom. I cut five 2" holes at the bottom - on the sides of the bucket so, it will hold a full 5 gallons of pellets. With the lid on top, the feed stays clean and dry. It works great for our turkeys.
