question about a fenced in run

i have a run its about 200 sq ft . i used 5ft wire fencing with green metal posts. my question is when its all dug up by the flock what do people do move the run to more of a grassy area . last summer i moved with the chickens and came back 2 month later and where the chicken run was it was all grown back in with tall grass i was surprised it grew back that quick . i figured if i move the run and let it grow back in this year as well . what does everyone think.

My run is permanent so I don't have a choice but I do let them out to free range for a few hours a day. It won't take them long to dig it all up again. If you're going to do that, you might as well get a tractor and move them around every day in that. I do till mine periodically so they can get the worms.
I imagine the grass grew back so nice because of all the great fertilizer they put on it!
