Hello there I am curios about a seller on ebay. Has anyone purchased eggs from soggy- bottom-bantams before. You can PM me if you like. I have bought two different batches eggs without the best experience. I am in lock-down on a little less than half my first batch and I am not sure if or when I will get my other eggs. I am new to this hatching eggs but despite all the worry I think I love it. So I want to have the best chance I can have on my next batch. I am also wondering about bantams. Would you say that bantams have a similar temperament to their standard relatives. I only have standards now and I have to admit I feel nervous about bantams. Didi you know the whole time I was writing this all I can really think about is my eggs in lock-down. I guess you to learn to enjoy the anticipation. Good luck to all them eggs!

there are so many factors with shipped eggs.....I am on my third batch from an ebayer because they are the only ones that have a certain breed/color I need. I have spent well over $100 and still have no chicks. I am crossing my fingers on this last one and hope to at least get a couple. Shipping is pretty rough on eggs. All(but 3 hens) of my chickens came from shipped eggs. I have had 100% hatches(rare) and 0% hatches. I think if you get at least 30% then you are doing good, expecting more than that and you will be disappointed. If you want a better experience then I say find some local eggs
