I have a 3 yo hen who is lethargic. She stands in one place or lays down in one place. Yesterday her crop was extremely large and firm. I found her still on the roost after her flockmates came out this morning. Her crop was a little smaller, but still more full than it should have been.
I brought her in and she's been standing or lying in her crate all day. I gave her some miconazole this morning & massaged her crop.
This afternoon, I gave her some torpedoes of her feed mixed with egg and coconut oil mixed to a stiff dough and rolled into balls. Had to do the wattle pull and force them into her mouth. I gave her two about the size of a calcium tablet.
I offered her water with vitamins, ACV and a few drops of colloidal silver but she won't drink anything. I can't get her to eat either.
Her comb is normal color, eyes are clear tho she appears drowsy from time to time. Her stance is steady, but she holds her tail horizontal. She's not puffed up at all. She was wormed along with her flock, a couple of months ago with no ill affects with Safeguard.
No odor coming from her mouth and her poos surprisingly don't smell hardly at all.
When I present water or feed she seems interested, but won't take anything in.
I got some Acidified copper sulfate this afternoon, mixed it up per @DobbieLover s instructions. My question is, can this be syringed to her? She hasn't drank any water all day. Her poos are like water, mostly clear and whiteish.
