Someone just gave me an old incubator....It's really just a square styrofoam box with channels in the bottom...a screen, an air thermometer, a glass top with a heating element. It's got a red light when plugged in and some red plugs for the air holes in the top.

Can someone tell me what it is and if it's worth incubating in it? I can't see how I would regulate the temperature? I am going to need some thermometers and a hydrometer and a water wiggler for sure.

Sounds like a hova-bator 1602n. Should be fine for incubating.

Thanks Peeps, but I don't thing it's a 1602n .....I believe it's a Hova Bator, but it has a very large plexiglass top, not the two separate ones.

Is this a good incubator?
