Question about behavior.

Hi, i have a chicken that i cant determine if it s a pullet/cockerel. He/she is 6 months old, has the feather layout like a cockerel, does not crow, beats other cockerels and other cockerels tend to mount him. And about the behavior, every time i pick a cockerel/pullet, until i release them he jumps and pecks at them, when i lay them down, if i still have them in my hands same thing. He/she is not trying to get up in the pecking order cause its the biggest and every pullet/cockerel runs from her/him. Whats the deal with this chicken?
