Question about Breeds

im from florida and heat is an issue for me. my ee's do well in heat.. i hand raise them from my own hatching and are sweet tempered and lay a large egg. i like australorps temperment but the black color ifs a negative for me. but my games do the best of all in the heat. my american games are the hardiest breed of any breed i have ever raised. Cali whites give the benefits of leghorns without the drawbacks as they are very curious and freindly birds. my wyandotttes due well in heat are quiet but not as sociable. i steer away from birds that lay more than 5 eggs a week because they tend to burn out to quick for my taste.

OK ill try a different approach, nah i don't swoop at them.... but like i said....the new Hampshire was already old when she flew in....at first when it took refuge in my backyard.....everymorning when i open the back door to go to work..it used to DART across the backyard like a cartoon style run...it was really hilarious if you saw it.LOL
and now shes really trusting....and this is all within few months...as i said....very quick learner.

and as for intelligence, the New hamp actually knew when the other bird was dying and seemed to try and be protective towards her... and I'm not sure if it was my imagination, Ive seen her actually SHARE....and we all know Chickens DON'T share! but yeah the ISA i have is kinda dumb and as THICK as 2 bricks!

anyhow, so ill try and take her once a day and just hold her for how long????
why a "towel"???

then I'm guessing after the period you hold her you put her back in the coop to sleep?

would this alarm the other hen, when all she sees is........a *flashlight*, then Pop.....she dissapears......and then *flashlight again* and suddenly appear?

thanks
