Hello,
I have 2 very stubborn pullets that keep getting broody.
I once did give eggs to one of my broody pullets (these 2 current pullets come from that batch :)
and it was a nice experience and I didn't have to do much ;)
So I would like to give fertile eggs to these 2 stubborn pullets: Lavander and Moptop3.

I found somebody local who can give me a couple of fertile eggs if I give back the chicks after a couple of weeks, which is fine by me because I cannot keep more chooks.
My question is: if I give back the chicks a couple of week after they hatch would be OK for the two broodies? Or should I wait more time?

Thank you! :)

If the person is willing to wait until the broody decides that's better in my opinion. (No expert here)
Mom will have taught them about flock life and when she starts to wean them "she" thinks they are ready. So Mom and chicks will be happier about the separation and a broader probably won't be needed.

It depends on the hen. My broody just looks bad when I put her in the breaker. LOL If I take her off the nest (eggs or no) she walks around fluffed up tuk tuk tuking.
The hen may be fine with the chicks being gone or she may look for them.
