Question about buff silkies.....

Both my buff silkies have bits of black in them. My rooster more so then my pullet. My pullet has some tiny black tips in her tail and on one wing. My rooster has a lot of black in his main tail feather. Needless to say I we bummed to see it, but I have a feeling after a molt from my pullet chances are good her black will be gone she has so little. I just wish she had a larger crest.

I really wanted to breed them in the spring so I am a bit extra bummed... but they are lovely pet quality.

my problem is b/c of my dogs! cute- and little- and just love to eat chicks and almost grown pullets, I really can't have anything other than grown birds----until my Christmas present is finished! So I would need grown Silkies.
