Question about burying hardware cloth

So the run is complete and I am almost done securing the hardware cloth. I dug a trench around the perimeter of the run but it varies from 4 inches to 8 inches in depth due to roots, rocks etc. I plan on mixing some quickcrete and pouring it into the trench and onto the cloth. Should this be secure enough. If needed I have a ton of cobblestone which I can place around the outside edge of the run.

All advice is appreciated.

My first reaction was good idea. My second reaction was the chemicals in the concrete might react with the coating on the hardware cloth and the hardware cloth might corrode away. Don't know that it will, just a thought.

Cobblestone sounds great.

huh ya that does sound like a good idea...but you never know how it will react. Be interesting to try tho.
