Alright! Thank you for letting me know. I will keep that in mind!Yeah we've even had a small intestine puncture and just rinsed it super well. For the reason of crop punctures I sometimes will tie off the esophagus and cut the crop off and pull it out the top after loosening.
You could try withholding feed longer next time or if they have access to the ground dirt really anything some birds will eat whatever they can when food is being withheld. We had one cockeral that ate mud and totally filled his crop.
